Vietnam Airlines Supports Community Protection Against Cyber Scams

In an effort to raise awareness about information security and protect vulnerable groups from online scams, Vietnam Airlines sponsored flight tickets for cybersecurity experts as part of a training program for the Deaf community in Ho Chi Minh City.

This initiative is part of the airline's corporate social responsibility commitment, aiming to foster a safer digital environment. The program was organized by the Anti-Scam Group — a non-profit organization founded by cybersecurity expert Ngô Minh Hiếu (Hiếu PC) — in collaboration with various partners.

During the event, cybersecurity experts shared valuable insights on how to identify and avoid increasingly sophisticated online scams that target a wide range of victims, including the Deaf and hard-of-hearing.

Nguyễn Hưng, Co-Founder of Vietnix Hosting and co-founder of the Anti-Scam Group, stated:
"Deaf individuals face many barriers in communication and access to information, making them especially vulnerable to cyber scams. With support from Vietnam Airlines, our experts are able to travel to different localities and bring essential knowledge to communities, helping them protect themselves in the digital space."
