Children in Difficult Circumstances Become Flight Attendants for the First Time
The aim of the program goes beyond introducing the responsibilities of a flight attendant — it is a journey of inspiration, awakening dreams and sparking a passion for the aviation industry. Vietnam Airlines hopes to bring these children the most vivid and authentic experience of this fascinating profession.

At the beginning of the program, the children were treated to colorful video clips introducing Vietnam Airlines – the national flag carrier. For many who had never set foot on an aircraft, these visuals were truly magical, opening the door to dreams waiting to be discovered.
Under the warm and thoughtful guidance of Ms. Mai Nhật Lan, Chief Purser of Vietnam Airlines, the children not only learned about the roles of flight attendants and pilots but also gained an understanding of in-flight service procedures and aviation safety regulations.

Before joining the program, none of the children dared to dream of becoming a flight attendant. But after being inspired and immersed in the experience, many shared their excitement and aspirations.
“My dream is to become a pilot so I can soar freely through the skies!” said Dương Ngô Bảo Long, 11 years old, his eyes sparkling with determination.
Launched in 2023, the “Dream Trip” is one of Vietnam Airlines’ most heartfelt corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives, helping hundreds of underprivileged children from across Vietnam pursue their dreams. From Vũng Tàu to Nha Trang and Đà Nẵng, each destination in the journey is carefully curated with educational, exploratory, and bonding activities — leaving a lasting, meaningful impact.

This year marks the first time the program has included a hands-on flight attendant career experience for disadvantaged children — a significant milestone in the journey of “Dream Trip.”
Now in its fourth year, “Dream Trip” continues to bring hope and inspiration to children in difficult circumstances across Vietnam. The 2025 edition is especially meaningful as it coincides with the 30th anniversary of Vietnam Airlines.
Over the past three decades of growth and innovation, Vietnam Airlines has not only fulfilled its role as the national carrier, pioneering integration and modernization — it has also remained deeply committed to the community. Through meaningful actions and social responsibility, the airline continues to nurture dreams, spread kindness, and soar high — just like the wings that carry hope to the skies.
