From September 3,2018 induvidual and entities, both Indonesian citizen and foreigners, are not allowed to bring foreign bank notes in the amount equivalent of equal to more than Rp. 1 billion across Indonesia’s custom area.
The violation of the provisions will be subject to fine of 10% of the total amount brought (maximum Rp. 300 million).
