Elevating VNA Youth Union Officers' Skills: Standardizing Youth Union Professional Operations

Aiming to foster knowledge and enhance skills for the core team of Youth Union officers in response to the demands of the new situation, the Corporation's Youth Union organized a training session on Youth Union professional operations for young officers through a hybrid format (in-person and online).

Opening the program, Comrade Nguyen Van Thanh – Secretary of the Corporation's Youth Union, delivered the opening remarks, emphasizing the importance of standardizing skills in the current period. According to the Secretary, proactivity, creativity, and solid professional expertise are the keys for each officer to not only excel in their specialized tasks but also truly become a reliable and knowledgeable resource for their units.

Instead of one-way lectures, the training focused on four core contents:

1. Administrative Document Drafting Skills: Standardizing the system of Youth Union documents at the grassroots level, aiming for professionalism and unity throughout the entire system.

2. Event Organization Skills: Equipping officers with creative thinking and methodical processes to ensure every movement activity brings practical value to Union members.

3. Personnel Consolidation Procedures: Mastering the steps to strengthen the organizational apparatus, ensuring the inheritance and stability of grassroots Union branches.

4. Procedures for Recommending Outstanding Union Members for Party Admission: Improving the quality of Party development from young human resources, affirming the role of the Union as a reliable reserve force.

Notably, the open discussion session became a "hot spot" as Youth Union officers continuously raised actual situations arising at their units. From obstacles in the procedure of recommending outstanding members to "tips" for organizing events that attract youth, all were dissected and resolved directly, helping attendees troubleshoot long-standing "difficult cases."

The intensity of the training reached its peak during the practical session via an online Quiz. Dramatic situational questions requiring quick reflexes and a firm grasp of professional operations created a breathtaking race on the leaderboard.

At the end of the competition, the eight "wise officers" with the highest scores excellently won meaningful gifts from the Organizing Committee. This was well-deserved recognition for the focus and rapid problem-solving abilities of these young leaders.

The training session concluded not just with figures, but with clear confidence visible on the face of every officer. With their updated "luggage" of solid professional skills, the youth of Vietnam Airlines are ready to innovate and enhance the quality of grassroots activities, meeting all mission requirements in the new situation.
