VNA youth spread "responsibility, standards and mettle of VNA people" in cyberspace

In the context that the digital environment is increasingly exerting a powerful impact on daily life and corporate operations, building a civilized and professional culture of conduct in cyberspace is becoming an important requirement for each officer and employee. With the pioneering spirit of youth, the Youth Union of Vietnam Airlines Corporation organized a training program entitled "Culture of conduct in cyberspace – Responsibility, standards and mettle of VNA people", contributing to raising awareness, skills and digital responsibility for young union members throughout the Corporation.

On the morning of May 13, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Airlines Corporation Youth Union organized a training program with the theme "Culture of conduct in cyberspace – Responsibility, standards and mettle of VNA people". The program was connected online to broadcasting hubs in Da Nang and Tan Son Nhat, attracting nearly 200 young union members representing affiliated Union grassroots to attend.

This is also an activity within the framework of implementing programs under the Green Alliance of Vietnam Airlines, while marking the coordination between the Corporation and specialized units under the Ministry of Public Security and the ChongLuaDao (Anti-Phishing) organization – a member of the National Cyber Security Association of Vietnam, in order to enhance information security capabilities, building a safe, civilized and responsible digital environment for officers and employees.

Attending the program were leaders of the Corporation: Mr. Ta Manh Hung – Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Member of the Board of Directors of the Corporation; Mr. Dao Manh Kien – Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee in charge of the Youth Union, Chairman of the Corporation's Trade Union; Mr. Dinh Van Tuan – Member of the Executive Committee of the Party Committee, Executive Vice President of the Corporation along with representatives of leaders of agencies and units in the Corporation.

The program also had the participation of speakers and experts in the field of cybersecurity and communications including: Senior Colonel Nguyen Hong Quân – Deputy Director of the Department of Cybersecurity and High-Tech Crime Prevention (A05), Ministry of Public Security; Mr. Nguyen Tat Hong Duong – Editor-in-Chief of the Cybersecurity Electronic Magazine; Mr. Ngo Minh Hieu (Hieu PC) – Director of ChongLuaDao, member of the National Cyber Security Association of Vietnam.

Delivering the opening speech of the program, Mr. Dinh Van Tuan – Executive Vice President of the Corporation emphasized the role of young union members in pioneering the construction of a professional, responsible and exemplary image of Vietnam Airlines people in the digital environment. At the same time, he expected that VNA youth would continue to promote their core role in spreading positive values, contributing to building a civilized digital environment throughout the Corporation.

At the program, the young union members approached many practical contents through three key topics.

In topic 1, Senior Colonel Nguyen Hong Quân brought a comprehensive perspective on the risks of information insecurity, unexemplary behaviors in cyberspace as well as risks that can directly affect individuals and businesses in the digital age.

Moving on to topic 2, speaker Ngo Minh Hieu (Hieu PC) shared many practical skills to help young union members improve their ability to recognize forms of online fraud, actively protect personal data and build a safe, professional personal image in the network environment.

In particular, the coordination with the ChongLuaDao organization – a member of the National Cyber Security Association of Vietnam and specialized units under the Ministry of Public Security not only contributed to improving the practicality of the program, but also showed the orientation of strengthening cooperation between Vietnam Airlines and specialized organizations in the work of ensuring information safety, building a healthy digital culture in the enterprise. This is also one of the practical activities under the framework of the Green Alliance, towards building a modern, safe and sustainable working environment.

With the 3rd topic, Mr. Nguyen Tat Hong Duong focused on discussing the standard culture of conduct of VNA officers and employees on social networks; thereby shaping a civilized, responsible communication style deeply imbued with the identity of VNA people in the digital space.

The atmosphere of the program became exciting during the panel discussion and open Q&A session, where many practical issues were directly exchanged between young union members and the speakers. Contents related to handling negative information, protecting corporate branding or balancing personal individuality with a professional image received a lot of attention and open sharing.

The special highlight of the program was the activity "Commitment to properly implementing the culture of conduct in cyberspace – Responsibility, standards and mettle of VNA people". Through the form of online interaction on the "Digital Wall", the young union members together posted images, messages and their own commitments to action. Many positive contents continuously appeared on the large screen such as using social networks civilly, spreading beautiful images of VNA people or promoting the role of "media ambassadors" of Vietnam Airlines youth, creating a young, positive and inspiring connection space.

Delivering the concluding speech of the program, Mr. Ta Manh Hung – Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Member of the Board of Directors of the Corporation acknowledged the serious and proactive spirit of the attending youth union force; at the same time expected that the youth of Vietnam Airlines will continue to pioneer in spreading a civilized, safe and identity-rich digital culture to all officers and employees in the Corporation.

The training program not only brought practical knowledge and skills, but also contributed to raising awareness, responsibility and digital mettle for the youth of Vietnam Airlines, towards building a professional, civilized and safe digital environment throughout the Corporation.
