Corporation Leaders Meet and Extend Lunar New Year Greetings to Units in Bo De Area
On the morning of February 10, 2026, Corporation leaders held a meeting to extend Lunar New Year (Tet) greetings to agencies and units located in the Bo De area. This was an occasion to reflect on the brilliant achievements of 2025 and to launch the core missions for 2026 with the determined spirit of “Golden Lotus Warriors.”
In attendance were Mr. Dang Ngoc Hoa – Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Board of Directors; Mr. Le Hong Ha – Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and President & CEO; Mr. Ta Manh Hung – Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Member of the Board; and Mr. Dao Manh Kien – Chairman of the Trade Union. The meeting also included members of the Board of Directors, the Board of Management, the Supervisory Board, and leaders from various departments, subsidiaries, and branches based in Bo De Ward.
Speaking at the meeting, Chairman Dang Ngoc Hoa, on behalf of the Party Committee and the leadership, expressed his sincere gratitude to all employees for their companionship, dedication, and sense of responsibility throughout 2025.
Reflecting on the 2025 journey, the Chairman recognized the practical and breakthrough results as Vietnam Airlines recorded its highest financial performance to date. This achievement is a testament to the record-breaking international network expansion strategy with 14 new routes, combined closely with the maintenance of absolute safety discipline and the continuous elevation of service quality.
Notably, the Corporation successfully launched a new website system on the modern Adobe technology platform, optimizing costs and operational efficiency. Regarding resources, the Corporation successfully invested in 50 Boeing 737 MAX narrow-body aircraft while preparing steps to expand the wide-body fleet to enhance competitiveness and international network reach.
Entering 2026, Chairman Dang Ngoc Hoa emphasized Vietnam Airlines' leading role and guiding position in the Vietnamese aviation industry. With a series of major goals regarding passenger service scale, business efficiency, and efforts to improve employees' lives, the Corporation’s leadership required the entire system to deeply grasp the spirit: “Talk less, do more; limit bureaucracy and formalism; and do not allow for even a single day of delay.”
The Chairman affirmed: “The more pressure and competition there is, the clearer the Golden Lotus warrior spirit becomes. We must choose correctly, implement quickly, and follow through to the end. Every employee must be a soldier in peacetime, striving many times harder to help the Corporation overcome mounting difficulties.” He also highlighted the exemplary role of heads of units: dare to speak, dare to do, and dare to take responsibility.
On behalf of the units in the Bo De area, Mr. Nguyen Hai Anh – Deputy Captain of Flight Crew Division 919, deeply absorbed the Chairman's directions. He emphasized that the recognition from the Corporation’s leadership serves as a tremendous spiritual encouragement for all employees.
The representative of Flight Crew Division 919 committed that the entire unit would remain steadfast in the goal of ensuring absolute operational safety, maintaining the professional image of the pilot force, and accompanying the Corporation in digital transformation, innovation, and enhancing management capacity to complete all assigned tasks.
In the warm atmosphere of the days leading up to the Year of the Horse, Corporation leaders presented meaningful gifts to representatives of the units and wished all employees and their families a healthy and happy New Year.
Chairman Dang Ngoc Hoa also reminded service units to focus highly on ensuring smooth and absolutely safe operations so that citizens can travel conveniently during the Tet peak season, affirming the prestige and brand of the National Flag Carrier of Vietnam.
