Union Meal: Connecting for mutual development

Aiming to care for the material and spiritual life of union members and employees, while strengthening collective cohesion, the Life Department – VACS Grassroots Trade Union organized the "Union Meal" program for all officers and employees working at the unit. This meaningful activity not only brings quality meals but also demonstrates the care and companionship of the Trade Union organization toward the employees.

With the motto of placing employees at the center of all care activities, over the past time, the VACS Grassroots Trade Union has always implemented many practical programs to improve the material and spiritual life of union members. Among them, the "Union Meal" is a meaningful activity, contributing to spreading the spirit of sharing, connection, and building a friendly and humanistic working environment.

The program was carefully prepared by the Life Department – VACS Grassroots Trade Union in coordination with the Production Department (PRO) and the Canteen section, from menu planning and ingredient selection to service organization. Around 900 meal portions were thoughtfully prepared, ensuring criteria for nutrition, food safety, and suitability for the employees' tastes. 

The meal portions carefully processed with a rich, nutritionally balanced menu not only help employees gain more energy to successfully complete their work but also demonstrate the specific, practical care of the Trade Union for the health and daily life of officers and employees.

Not merely a collective meal, the program is also an occasion for the Company's Management Board, the Trade Union, and the employees to meet, exchange, and share in a close, cordial atmosphere. Conversations over the meal help shorten the distance and enhance understanding between management levels and employees, thereby contributing to building a united collective, single-mindedly heading toward the common goals of the unit.

The presence and companionship of the Company's leadership in the program clearly demonstrated the care for the employees' life. This is also a message affirming that each officer and employee is always a valuable asset, an important factor creating the sustainable development of VACS.

In the context of increasingly high workloads and continuously rising service quality requirements, caring for the employees' life carries even more practical meaning. A good working environment is built not only from remuneration policies but also from specific, close, and sincere actions of care. The "Union Meal" is precisely one of the activities demonstrating that spirit.

Through the program, the VACS Grassroots Trade Union wishes to bring union members and employees relaxing, warm moments after working hours, while providing more motivation for each individual to continue striving, contributing, and staying attached to the unit. This is also an opportunity to spread corporate culture, build collective spirit, and reinforce the solidarity relationship throughout the Company. 

Although taking place in a short time, the "Union Meal" left many positive emotions and beautiful impressions on the employees. With its practical and humanistic meaning, the program not only contributes to improving the life of union members but also fuels energy, faith, and attachment for all officers and employees to together accompany and develop alongside VACS in the coming time.
