Join hands in "Contributing Leaves to the Forest" with Vietnam Airlines and Momo

Understanding that lush forests and clean air are precious gifts from nature that we directly benefit from, and in pursuit of the goal of sustainable tourism development, Vietnam Airlines has taken the lead in launching the campaign "For a Green and Sustainable Vietnam". 

This initiative aims to address pressing environmental issues by restoring fragmented and degraded old-growth forest "gaps" along the limestone mountain ranges in Hoa Binh and Son La, helping to create a continuous and unbroken green canopy. This forest area is home to the critically endangered white-cheeked black gibbon, along with many other wild plants and animals, and is also home to highland ethnic minority communities.

Donation method

For every successful transaction booking Vietnam Airlines tickets worth VND 2,000,000 under one of the two methods:

Meaning you have contributed 1 , equivalent to VND 5,000, to the "contributing leaves to the forest" initiative. This is the amount automatically deducted from the revenue of Vietnam

Airlines ticket sales on MoMo, used to restore 50 hectares of forest along the mountain corridor between Hoa Binh and Son La.

• For transactions that meet the conditions and are successfully completed, the Vietnam Airlines system will automatically record the revenue deduction for donations.

• For transactions that meet the conditions but are NOT successfully completed or are delayed, the Vietnam Airlines system will NOT record the revenue deduction for donations.

• In case of ticket cancellation or partial/full refund after successful transaction, the VND 5,000 donation from Vietnam Airlines' revenue will still be recorded.

• The program will end when one of the two criteria is met: completing the time frame or recording the full donation amount of VND 400,000,000.

• The donation amount will be transparently and publicly displayed, updated accurately at each stage of the campaign.
