- Passengers are required to complete the PLF form declaration at the link https://www.gov.uk/provide-journey-contact-details-before-travel-uk:

   + After completing the declaration, the system will return 1 QR code; Passengers take a photo of this QR code or print it out to prepare with other documents. If the information requested in the form is missing, the system will not display the QR code, and the passenger will be considered as not completing the declaration.

    + This declaration is mandatory. Failure to complete this declaration may result in a fine from 100GBP/passenger.

    + The declaration must be completed before check-in. In case no QR code is found, passengers will not be accepted to check-in at the airport (considered as lacking documents for entry).

- Passengers from 12 years old are required to have a negative PCR test result for Covid-19 within 02 days from the date of entry into the UK. This result must be original, available in English, French, Spanish... Passengers under 12 years old are exempt from the requirement for pre-departure testing.

- Passengers with “Verified Full/Exempt” or “Declared Full/Exempt” vaccine status on the Medical Declaration Form (PLF) do not need to provide the negative PCR test result for Covid-19 prior departure.
- Passengers with “Declared Full/Exempt” vaccine status must present proof of full immunization.
- Passengers with “No/Not Declared” vaccine status must present a negative PCR test result for Covid-19 within 02 days before departure date.

    - At the time of check-in at Hanoi, in addition to the usual travel documents according to the immigration regulations, passengers will have to present to the check-in staff negative COVID-19 PCR test results and PLF form. This form needs to be filled in with all information, if any information is missing, Vietnam Airlines reserves the right to refuse passengers at the request of the UK government.

    - Passengers need to book a mandatory testing package of the UK government on the 2nd and 8th day after the date of entry into the UK. Detailed instructions and a list of providers are provided below, passengers can choose and order these test packages before the flight date. Please note, the booking code information of this test package is one of the mandatory information to be provided in the PLF form.

    - Some more countries/territories will be added to the list of countries with UK-recognized immunization programmes, including Bhutan; Cameroon; Côte d'Ivoire; Fiji; Iraq; Liberia; Mali; Mauritania; Nigeria; Northern Cyprus; Palau; Papua New Guinea; Paragoay; Solomon Islands; Gambia and Uzbekistan.     Transit information
    - Passengerswho are not on the Red list with the final destination in the journey outside the common free-of-travel area (CTA) can make a connection as an Airside transit or a Landside transit. In which, Airside transit is a form of connecting flights without completing immigration procedures, and landside transit is a form of connecting flights to clear entry and exit procedures for the next flight (details here).
    - Guests who take the form of Airside transit still have to apply for a Direct Airside transit visa, except for those who have one of the following documents:
    • Valid Canada, New Zealand, Australia, and US visas
    • Long-term resident visa issued by Australia or New Zealand
    • Residence card issued by countries in the European Economic Area (EEA) or Switzerland
    • Long-term residence card issued by Canada on or after June 28, 2002
    • Group D visa to enter a country in the European Economic Area (EEA) or Switzerland
    • An Irish-issued biometric card (with the notation 'BC' or 'BC VIS')
    • Group Schengen tourist visa, visa holder must visit 1 Schengen country
    • Air tickets to the Schengen area
    • USA I-551 short-term resident visa issued by the US is still valid
    • A valid long-term resident visa issued by the US, issued on or after April 21, 1998
    • Long-term resident visa USA I-551 issued by the US on or after April 21, 1998, if it expires, it needs to be accompanied by an extension permit while the I797 is still valid
