Hanoi, 10 February 2020 – To provide support to students whose learning schedules have been affected by 2019-nCoV, Vietnam Airlines will change students’ flight dates and itineraries of all domestic flights operated by Vietnam Airlines free of charge. This program is applicable to flight tickets bought via VNA’ ticket offices, official website, and mobile application, with departure times between the 1st and the 16th of February, 2020.

Accordingly, students are entitled to have their original flight dates and itineraries changed once, with their new departure times ranging from now to the 29th of February, 2020. From today, students can request changes in flight dates and itineraries. The cost difference between booking classes, taxes, and additional charges may still be applied (if any).  

To make adjustments, students need to bring copies of their valid student identity cards, reservation codes, and ticket numbers to VNA’ nationwide ticket offices to proceed with the modification procedures. Passengers can check the list of ticket offices on Vietnam Airlines’ website in the Agency section.

Previously, to assist passengers affected by the nCoV epidemic, Vietnam Airlines has also supported in refunding, or changing flight dates and itineraries free of charge for passengers traveling on flights operated by Vietnam Airlines to/from cities in China starting from the 24th of January until further notice.
