Due to the strict control of international goods by Customs regulations, duty-free items cannot be exchanged or returned after leaving the aircraft; passengers are advised to carefully check products before payment or disembarkation.

Duty-free purchase allowances depend on the regulations of the destination country. According to Vietnam rules, each passenger may carry up to 1.5 liters of spirits, 2 liters of wine, 200 cigarettes, and goods worth no more than VND 10 million.

Vietnam Airlines accepts cash (VND, USD, AUD, JPY, GBP, EUR) and international credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, JCB, etc.), excluding CUP (China UnionPay) cards
Currently, the system does not accept QR codes or contactless payments (ApplePay, SamsungPay, etc).
