Who can buy duty-free goods on board?

On which flights is the duty-free sales service available?

The duty-free sales service is available on international flights operated by Vietnam Airlines.
The service is currently available on most routes between Vietnam and Asia, Europe, and Australia.
Some short-haul flights or those operated with smaller aircraft may temporarily not offer the service - please contact a flight attendant on board for more details.

Where can I buy duty-free goods?

Passengers may choose:
• Purchase directly on board from Vietnam Airlines flight attendants.
• Pre-order via email dutyfree.psd@vietnamairlines.com at least 72 hours before departure and have your purchases delivered on board (applies to routes where this service is available). We will process your information quickly and respond as soon as possible

What are the available payment methods?

What is the maximum number of items I can buy?

Duty-free purchase allowances depend on the regulations of the destination country. According to Vietnam rules, each passenger may carry up to 1.5 liters of spirits, 2 liters of wine, 200 cigarettes, and goods worth no more than VND 10 million.
Regulations are subject to change; please check before your flight or refer to the allowance information supplied in the LotuShop catalog.

Can I exchange or return duty-free items?

Due to the strict control of international goods by Customs regulations, duty-free items cannot be exchanged or returned after leaving the aircraft; passengers are advised to carefully check products before payment or disembarkation.
If a product has a technical defect caused by the manufacturer, passengers should contact dutyfree.psd@vietnamairlines.com by email for assistance.
