Vegetarian Meals

AVML: Vegetarian Hindu Meal
Other name: Ovo-lacto Vegetarian-Indian style or Asian/Indian Vegetarian.
Food to avoid: meats, seafood, eggs, lard, gelatin.
Recommended for: great majority Hindus, who do not use meat and fish products.
 
VGML: Vegetarian vegan Meal
Other name: Vegan Meal or Strict/Pure Vegetarian Meal.
Food to avoid: meats, seafood, eggs, lard, gelatin, dairy product, honey.

Recommended for: strict vegetarians.


VLML: Vegetarian lacto-ovo Meal
Food to avoid: meats, seafood, lard, gelatin.
Recommended for: people, who do not eat seafood or meat products of any type.


VOML: Orieantal vegetarian Meal

Food to avoid: meats, seafood, lard, gelatin, eggs, milk/dairy, honey.


VJML: Vegetarian jain Meal

Food to avoid: meats, poultry, seafood, fish, lard, eggs, milk, dairy, root or bulbous vegetables.

Children meals

BBML: Baby Meal
Food to avoid: nuts; fibrous or hard fruit, vegetable; hard candy; rich cream or high fat food.
Recommended for: infant under 2 years old.

CHML: Child Meal
Food to avoid: indigestible food such as nuts, hard candy, rich cream or high fat food, spicy food; fish with bones.
Recommended for: children from 2 to 12 year olds.

Religious meals

KSML: Kosher Meal
Characteristic: these meals are prepared according to Jewish dietary laws and under rabbinical supervision in an approved Kosher kitchen.

Recommended for: persons of the Jewish religion.


HNML: Hindu Meal/ Hindu non-vegetarian Meal

Food to avoid: beef, veal or pork or by product items, gelatin, lard.

Ordered by: small minority of Hindus who can eat meat, fish.

Note: AVML assigned if request for a Hindu vegetarian meal.


MOML: Moslem Meal/ Muslim Meal/ Halal Meal

Food to avoid: pork, any foods containing pork derivaties, alcohol in any form, fish without scales.

Ordered by: persons of the moslem religion.

Medical meals

BLML: Bland Meal
Other name: Ulcer Diet Meal, Restricted Fiber Diet, Low Residue, Low Roughage.
Food to avoid: fried and fatty food, raw/dried fruit or nuts, raw vegetable, highly seasoned meats, pickles, spices, alcohol.
Recommended for: people who have peptic ulcer and other gastro-intestinal problems.

DBML: Diabetic Meal
Other name: Sugar Free Diet Meal, Hypoglycemic Meal, Restricted Carbohydrate meal.
Food to avoid: sugar and foods containing sugar such as honey, jam, pastries;  high-fat fried food, chocolate, sweetened desserts, sweetened fruit products, candy, ice-cream, coconut oil, palm oil, animal oil.
Recommended for: diabetics.

GFML: Gluten intolerant Meal
Other name: Gliadin Free Meal, Coeliac Meal, Wheat-free Meal, Gluten Restricted.
Food to avoid: products of wheat, buck wheat, rye, barley, oats, malt.
Recommended for: people who suffer from disease called coeliac disease. This disease is characterized by smoothing of the lining of the small intestine, rendering it ineffective for the digestion of nutrients. People with this disease have an intolerance to a protein called gluten which is found in the above cereals.

LCML: Low Calorie Meal
Other name: Modified Fat Meal, Low Saturated Fat Meal, Weight Control Meal, Low Joule Meal.
Food to avoid: sugar, high-fat food, processed meats and cheese, rich dairy products, sweet pastries, animal offal, shrimp, caviar…
Use: lean meat, fish, skinless chicken, fresh fruit, fresh vegetable, low-fat diary products, polyunsaturated fats and oils.
Recommended for: persons who want to control their total energy and fat intake.

LFML: Low fat Meal
Other name: Modified Fat Meal, Low Saturated Fat Meal.
Food to avoid: high cholesterol foods such as eggs, liver, kidney, heart, shrimp, caviar, oil, sugar, rich dairy products, processed meats, pastries, food containing high level of saturated fat.
Use: low-fat food, high-fibrous food.
Recommended for: people who have excessive blood cholesterol level, high blood pressure, cardiovascular problems; gall-stone problems or liver disorders.

LSML: Low salt Meal
Other name: Low Salt Meal, Restricted Sodium Meal.
Food to avoid: salted, smoked or pickled foods, all types of cheese, salted biscuits.
Recommended for: person suffering increased blood pressure or kidney disorders.

NLML: Low lactose Meal
Food to avoid: milk and dairy products.
Recommended for: people who can not consume milk and milk products.

FPML: Fruit Platter Meal
Food to avoid: meats, eggs, seafood, dairy products, lard, gelatin.
Use: fresh or dried fruits, jam, nuts.
Recommended for: people who suffer from jet lag or is on diet or an Indian religious sect has fruit in one period of year.

 

RVML: Vegeterian raw Meal
Food to avoid: meats, eggs, sea food, dairy products, lard, gelatin.
Use: mainly fresh vegetables, vegetable salad, nuts.
Recommended for: people who suffer from jet lag or is on diet.

 

SFML: Seafood Meal
Food to avoid: meats, fat.
Use: fish, seafood as main component of meal.
Recommended for: people who are love fish and seafood.
